eSahara win Spirit Lan 2011

Electronic Sahara have been crowned champions of Spirit Lan 2011 with a 2-0 victory of Millenium.

In what was the first big LAN event in France of the year, Electronic Sahara, who were last week on show at the IEM5 European Championship Finals, retained their number-one status in the country.

The tournament, which took place in Angers, gathered a total of 37 CS teams from across the country, including newly-born teams, such as nSydia, oSK Gaming and QWERTY.

In the end, though, it would be the usual suspects, Millenium and Electronic Sahara, to reach the final, after beating nSydia and QWERTY, respectively.

eSahara, who did not go beyond the group stages in Kiev, imposed their will on the game, beating Millenium with ease - 16:8 on de_inferno and 16:10 on de_nuke.
